Shy Donya

When the papers said things were getting hot in the Middle East, I had no idea Shy Donya is what they meant. Forget about oil – this Princess of Persia, born and raised in Sussex, is a real Iranian treasure about to go nuclear.

Sexy doesn’t even begin to cover it where Shy Donya is concerned, and you will have to think up something much better than stuttering about her curves to impress this switched on entrepreneur. Fluent in Farsi, and with no less than six A-Levels to her name, Shy entered the property market aged 20 and has amassed an impressive portfolio of properties in the UK and Middle East. Almost makes living at home with your mum look bad. Almost.

Shy by name, not by nature; she may be new to modelling but, judging by these frankly mouth-watering images, it looks like the glamour industry is going to be another big tick on Shy Donya’s list of things to do. Now…where can I find this list?

You clearly have the acumen to turn your hand to anything – what do like about glamour modelling?
I like the fact that it’s so different from what I’m used to doing; the fact that I can be creative and become different characters. I can be whoever I want to be in a picture for that moment, and get it out my system.

How do you feel about mixing business with pleasure?
I’m all for mixing business with pleasure. As long as you’re sensible and able to keep a balance, it can be a great thing. I work so much that I have to mix the two. I think it can depend on the line of business, but for me it’s the dream.

How do you stay in such great shape?
It’s simple – don’t over eat. Other than that, I drink nothing but water and black tea. Sugary drinks can be worse than eating bad foods so – no juice or coke for me!

You earned 6 A-Levels! Is there anything you wish you had studied, or would like to in the future?
Not at all. I’m not a fan of studying; I was just lucky enough to be good at it. I prefer learning from real life experiences although I appreciate that’s not always possible. In the future, I would love to learn more languages – anything that would be of use for international business.

You’ve achieved so much so young – what are you most proud of, and what ambitions are have you yet to achieve?
I don’t think I could single out a most proud moment, but I am most happy about the fact that I have been able to travel the whole world. I’ve been everywhere and seen it all. That’s my greatest achievement. In terms of business, I have so many more dreams and things I aspire to achieve. I love taking risks and experiencing new things. Dreams never end for me. I achieve one and I’m quickly onto the next!

You must have come across a few men, in your professional experience, who were interested in more than just business. Is it difficult to be a sexy, intelligent businesswoman? How do you handle it?
Naturally, I’ve come across plenty. I’m just polite and carry on with business as usual, although, now I’m single, I may take an interest – but there’s no one that stands out so far. I don’t think it’s difficult to be sexy and intelligent professional. It’s actually a powerful combination when you’re already successful because you are respected for your success, and admired for your beauty. However, when you’re just starting, it’s a lot harder as you have yet to prove yourself. I take it as a compliment when anyone takes an interest. I respect the fact that I’m blessed and should respect those who take time to talk to me by being polite about the situation.

What sets you apart from other models?
I think most girls use modelling as a tool to achieve another dream – and quite rightly so. I’ve done it backwards. I achieved what I wanted first, and then came to modelling after just for a bit of fun.

Can you do me a good deal on a nice house somewhere?
Absolutely – but only if you buy one of mine! I’m selling four beautiful ones in the Middle East right now. Call me!
