Often times, aspiring models spends thousands of dollars waiting for their big break. Houston, Texas native Carlos Demond got his after shooting with renowned photographer, Richard Flood. Shortly after that, Carlos landed a national campaign with Miller Lite. Since 2006, he’s been featured in multiple print campaigns and runway shows. As a former college athlete, he exudes versatility; “No matter what look they need from me, I feel I can pull it off with my diverse background.” From editorial to runway, Carlos always aims to exceed the client’s expectation.

What do you do to keep your body looking like that? I was a 3 sport guy in college so working out has been and still is my favorite thing to do I lift and I run that’s really it.

Have you ever made a style mistake that you really regret? No, it is all a learning thing from day to day so I haven’t thus far it’s still early for me though

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? In 5 years I hope to be a household name, Carlos Demond is here to stay, I also would have liked to have gotten my day spa in the beginning process of starting up.

What motivates you? I’m driven by my desire to be one of the best in all that I do and to be recognized by my peers and strangers for my work ethic.

What motto do you live by? “You have to have a Struggle for the story to go on” also “don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon”.
